Dental Cleaning

An oral hygiene cadence

Do you go to your dentist for dental cleanings regularly?

For good oral health, visiting your dental hygienist at least twice a year at the clinic is optimal.

One of the many reasons you may need a regular dental cleaning is because brushing and flossing don’t stop plaque to build-up, causing you problems with your teeth gums.

How hygiene appointments work

Dental cleaning is a simple procedure where a dental hygienist removes plaque (mass of bacteria that growth in within of the mouth) or tartar (a form of hardened dental plaque) from your teeth. This plaque and tartar appears above and below the gumline, which can’t be accessed with a normal toothbrush.

Make an appointment at our dental clinic in SW Calgary where our dentist, Dr. Park, will make sure to provide you with proper dental care.
