FAQs

Q: Why isn’t there a booking software so I can choose a date & time for my appointment?

Great question. Unlike services such as chiropractic care, dental procedures can be more complex, taking longer (or shorter) depending on the individual or requiring certain staff to be present. This is particularly the case for more advanced procedures such as implants. As such, it’s easier for Marj or Junayna to simply give you a call to ensure you get the proper care you need.

Q: Do you accept walk-ins?

While the Alberta Government and Alberta Dental Association mandates physical distancing for COVID-19, we’ve temporarily closed our office to walk-ins, in case the waiting area gets too crowded.

We certainly accept new patients though! Though, please fill the appointment request form or call us to book ahead of time.

Q: Where in Calgary are you located?

We’re located in the Westhills area of SW Calgary. Here’s a link to see our location on Google Maps (#204, 3715 51 St SW, Calgary AB).

Q: What are your clinic hours?

We’re open Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9am to 4pm. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, we’re open from 10am to 6pm.

Request a Call-Back for an Appt.

Please fill in the form below to request your next dental appointment. Marj or Junayna will return your message within 1 business day. Thank you

FAQs Continued

Q: How many years of experience do Dr. Park and Dr. Khosla have?

Dr. Park received his degree in dentistry in 1985, and (after initially working in Edmonton) has been proudly serving the Calgary community since 1997. Many of his patients have continued to see him for multiple years or decades.

Dr. Khosla similarly earned her degree in the late 1980s, and has been a respected student and practioner of dentistry for the years since. In 2018, she completed her mini implant residency.

Q: Are any payment plans available?

In the past, we offered Paybright so that 0% interest payment plans would be available, but we’ve since discontinued that (as of mid-2020). We’re hoping to offer no-interest payment plans again; please feel free to give us a call to learn about any new updates in regards to payment plans.

Q: What are the costs of the services, such as root canals or dental fillings?

You may have noticed that most dental office websites don’t display pricing. Please know we have no intention of hiding our prices from you. It’s actually because we don’t want to display inaccurate prices.

For example, with dentals fillings, the cost varies depending on the area of the filling, as well as the material used. Plus there’s an added complication; at Glenbrook Dental, we’re guided by the Alberta Dental Fee (ADA) schedule (which most dentists in Alberta adhere by), and their guidance for pricing changes yearly. That means it would be tough to estimate prices, and, to help clear any confusion, we simply ask that you speak with us over the phone, or visit us for a consultation.

Q: Can you refer me to specialists in case extra work is needed?

Yes, Dr. Park & Dr. Khosla can refer you to specialists if need be.

Q: Does your office have wheelchair accessibility?

Yes, Glenbrook Plaza, where our office is located, has plenty of parking, wheelchair ramps to enter the building, and a wide elevator to comfortably access the office.

Q: I’m worried since since it’s been many years since I’ve seen a dentist. Should I still book an appointment?

Don’t worry! You’re not alone in having skipped visits to the dentist, and this is more common than you might think. You can begin with an oral exam to better understand your oral health (which is pain-free), and any future dental work is purely optional and fully your decision.

Q: How can I book an appointment at your clinic?

To book your next dental appointment at Glenbrook, you can either call us (at +1 587-483-9900) or request an appointment by filling the form on this page. We look forward to helping you with your oral health.
